2019 - Year in review
As 2019 closes the decade, we’d like to reflect on the past 12 months and share some of our data with you. We have grown in the number of users and launched very important features to better help specialty coffee enthusiasts.
Below there is a quick summary and breakdown of our usage statistics. We’d like to be open about the way Filtru community grows.
With the grand total of 40,000 app downloads on App Store and Play Store, Filtru users have collectively brewed the total of 154,849 cups of coffee. That’s nearly 420 cups a day!
We’ve calculated that these total cups of coffee required over 3 tonnes (3070 kilograms) of coffee to brew. Some of that has been purchased directly through our Filtru Shop, a one-stop fresh coffee beans shop, built directly into our app.
Similarly, we have counted over 46,000 litres of coffee was used to make coffee with the Filtru app. Integrated brew guides suggest the best way to prepare water, boil it to a temperature and clean/maintain equipment. All that to help you brew a great cup of coffee.
The year ahead of us looks very promising, with more integrated features, caffeine tracking, Augmented Reality, seamless integration with existing shopping carts to let more and more coffee roasters recommend all of you their delicious coffee.
